Explanations you can check
We link to original research resources, institutional guidance and other relevant primary sources when they support an explanation. A historical source is treated as historical. We avoid presenting old counts or forecasts as current facts.
Keep examples separate from results
Invented numbers, scenes and scenarios are labelled as illustrative. They are teaching aids, not collected observations or findings from a study. An analogy helps explain a question but does not establish scientific evidence.
Writing and images
Drafting may be AI-assisted. Launch images are AI-generated conceptual illustrations, identified in their captions. They are not experimental results, scientific figures or photographs documenting a real laboratory.
Our scope
This is a general educational publication, not the historical OpenFlyData database service. We do not claim affiliation with its former operators or with organisations cited as sources. Our articles help readers understand ideas and evidence; they do not report original experiments.
